Week Four (September 13-17)

This week was one of my better weeks.

On Monday, I staffed a classroom visit with Semi and Josh Monson from 10:10-11:05 am. This was my first time doing a classroom visit and I loved it!

On Tuesday, I had class from 9:30-10:50am. Then, I worked the Welcome Desk from 12-2. The rest of my day was spent working Student Life from 2-4pm.

On Wednesday, I worked the UCBA Fresh Market with Kyla and Bridget Herron. I really loved staffing this event. I even got to take home some fresh fruits and vegetables for my family!

On Thursday, I worked Student Life from 8-9; had class 9:30 - 10:50 am ; worked Student Life 11am-3pm. Finally, I had my Honor's class from 3:30-4:25pm.

On Friday, I gave my first prospective tour! I got all my steps in for the day and I absolutely loved it! At the end of the tour, the group had some excellent questions regarding campus resources and how to get in touch with some of our departments.

I have included some of my favorite moments from the week here:

a) Bleeker Street Café had lots of food that was about to expire on Tuesday and again on Thursday! They came to all of the student workers in Muntz 112 (Student Life front desk: me!, and the IT desk) and offered it to us! It was awesome! Who doesn't love free food!

b) On Wednesday, while working the UCBA Fresh-Market event, I remembered all the salads that Bleeker Street Café had the day before that they were offering to the student workers. I told Bridget about it and we were able to get a variety of salads from Bleeker Street to give out to students for free! It was amazing!
