Week Fourteen (November 22-26)
On Monday, I caught up on homework and then I worked at the Dry Cleaners 3-7pm.
On Tuesday, I worked Student Life from 2-4pm!
On Wednesday, I worked at the Dry Cleaners from 8am-12pm. Then, I celebrated Thanksgiving with my family. We didn't have any company or family over because of COVID risks, but we enjoyed our time together.
On Thursday, we went to the first "normal" family gathering we have had since Christmas 2019. My mom's side of the family is not doing gatherings again yet, but my dad's side is and it was his custody day for my little sister. I was extremely hesitant due to COVID and all of the precautions that I have been taking and the anxiety I have surrounding it, but it was good to be together. It was amazing to feel the warmth and love of family close together again. I am triple vaccinated and take so many precautions, and at some point, I have to let myself breathe and enjoy a moment. I was so thankful for health, joy, and warmth of love during our time together on Thursday!
On Friday, my sister and I went Black Friday shopping (safely of course: with masks and we were careful to keep as much distance as possible from others)! We have never been Black Friday shopping before, but it was so much fun! Friday was also my Mom and Step-Dad's 11 year wedding anniversary. I was happy to take care of my brothers in the afternoon and evening so that they could enjoy some time together!
