Week Two (August 30-September 3)
This week was definitely one of my slower weeks!
On Monday and Wednesday I was able to stay home and get some work done for my asynchronous classes.
On Tuesday, August 31st, I worked the student life desk from 8-9, then went to sociology from 9:30-10:50am. I was able to book a study room for 11am-12pm, and it was awesome! I was able to get a lot of studying and assignments done during that time. From 12-2pm, I worked the Welcome Desk, and after that, I worked the Student Life desk from 2-4pm.
Thursday, September 2nd, I worked the Student Life desk from 8-9. My sociology class was cancelled for the day, so I booked a study room from 9-11am. My friend Sarah, who is also a Student Ambassador met me there and we studied together! Then, I worked the Student Life desk from 11-3pm, and then closed out the day with my Honors class.
Friday, September 3rd, I was scheduled to work a prospective tour, but Sarah covered it for me while my family attended the funeral of a family friend (Eli, who passed away at 13 years old).
Overall, this week was slow, but I was able to get ahead on many assignments and get some much needed rest!
I have included some of my favorite moments from the week here:
a) Getting FREE KONA ICE on Thursday!
b) Using the Study rooms in the UCBA Library
c) Relaxing and family time!
