Week Four (January 31-February 4)

On Monday, I student taught from 6:50-11am, then went to the Doctor, and then I returned to Student Teaching from 12-2:30pm. I closed out my day with my ENGL 2002 course from 4-5:20pm. 

On Tuesday, I student taught from 6:50am-2:30pm. During my student teaching, I got to lead parts of the class-wide lesson as well as work 1-on-1 as an aid for an ESL student (which I have been doing for the past few weeks)! I then tutored from 4:30-7:30pm. 

On Wednesday, I worked the welcome desk from 8-10am. Then, I worked Student Life from 10-1pm. Next, I attended the Ambassador meeting from 1:20-2:20pm with Harley and Ruthie on the 2nd floor. After, I hung out with Jamie during her welcome desk shift, and then attended my ENGL 2002 course from 4-5:20pm. 

Thursday and Friday were SNOW DAYS! My family was too literally snowed in, so we enjoyed valuable family time. We watched lots of Disney movies and drank plenty of hot chocolate.

This week started off as a whirlwind, but ended with a much needed calm.

 

Today, Sunday February 6th: I am looking forward to tomorrow because I get to lead my first full lesson at my student teaching that I planned! I'm sure I'll include it on next week's update as well.
